Foot Mechanics Podiatry is the largest provider of podiatry services in New Zealand. We are the chosen provider for many of New Zealand's elite athletes.
We are specialists in bio-mechanics, and orthotics. Orthotics are the cornerstone of our treatment plans. We have built a reputation amongst health professionals as being the experts in this field. If you are looking for high level advice on foot pain, knee pain, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis and other lower limb problems that have a biomechanical cause, then consult the specialists, Foot Mechanics.
Did you know that most foot and leg problems are caused by the way you walk or run? A podiatrist can prescribe an orthotic and exercise to correct foot function that causes injury. Whether you are a serious athlete with specific musculoskeletal injuries or have bunions or joint pain, see how a Foot Mechanics podiatrist can help you. We have the answers.
We have many Foot and Ankle Clinic locations throughout the North Island of New Zealand including the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Manawatu, Eastern Bay of Plenty, Wairarapa, and Auckland. We also run weekly in-store clinics at Smiths Sport Shoes & The Shoe Clinic in these centres, where we can help you find the right shoe to treat your foot problems. On our location page you can find the closest podiatry clinic to you.
In a recent American study that compared patient-reported medical outcomes following visits to podiatrists, orthopaedic surgeons and other physicians, results showed that podiatrists recorded a 'medical effectiveness' score 3.9 times higher than other health professionals.
