“I am committed to the values of Foot Mechanics, especially the value of  "Developing Leaders".  Employees will feel appreciated, valued, and included in the company.  Everyone can help make the company better.  Upholding the value of leadership helps to grow people into their potential.  People grow when given the opportunity; I want to grow great people.”

- John Miller
General Manager,  Podiatrist, and founding director of Foot Mechanics.

"I have been with the Foot Mechanics team since 2000. Foot Mechanics offers fantastic support which is why I have chosen to stay for so many years. I worked in Tauranga for 4 years before shifting across to Hamilton to manage Foot Mechanics at Anglesea. Since establishing the clinic in a multi disciplinary sports medicine environment it has grown to 4 full time Podiatrists which has seen my role develop intothe "Lead Podiatrist" role supporting 2 new graduates and becoming a member of the Foot Mechanics strategic planning team. This is a fantastic opportunity which I would not have got elsewhere. There are several other podiatrist who have joined Foot Mechanics with previous experience and have naturally moved into positions similar to mine. Foot Mechanics recognises continual education as a vital part of Podiatry’s future and for this reason everyone is given a study grant on an annual basis which assists towards continual education. Because of our size and the opportunities offered, why would you want to be anywhere else?"

- Amy Booth, Lead Podiatrist, Foot Mechanics Hamilton

"I've worked for Foot Mechanics since April 2005.  Working here allows me to mould and shape the career path that I choose.

The experience gained since becoming a Foot Mechanics employee has been paramount to my continued growth as a clinician and Lead Podiatrist.

The work philosophy behind Foot Mechanics is something that I personally admire and find inspiring on a regular basis.

This is a company who is eager to listen to your ideas, can see your vision and encourage you to follow it through and finally implement it in the work place.

No other Podiatry group are able to offer me the career opportunities that Foot Mechanics can offer me right now.  I have chosen to become a Lead Podiatrist specializing in biomechanics and sports medicine. As part of the employee development program there has always been support when I have asked for it and guidance when I have needed it.

I am comfortable in the knowledge that my career path does not have to stop at a clinical level.  Opportunities exist in the company to grow into different roles and to take my career to a new level.  I am currently excited by the prospects of owning my own Foot Mechanics clinic and will be working towards this.

I am proud to be helping Foot Mechanics ‘Lead Podiatry’."

Innes Graham - Lead Podiatrist, Foot Mechanics Palmerston North
